Education and Career Guidance (ECG) Experiences

The comprehensive Commonwealth Education and Career Guidance (ECG) experiences equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills and values to make informed decisions at each key education stage. This enables successful transitions to post-secondary school pathways and empowers students to manage their career pathways and learn for life.

Our Champion Mentors, together with our ECG Counsellor, help students to discover their strengths and interests, guide them to identify a meaningful purpose that they would champion, and inspire them to be the change that they want to see. By connecting with students’ goals and aspirations, their learning in school would be more meaningful and purposeful.

Discovering purpose - Who am I?

Nurture students' self-awareness to support them in discovering how they can meaningfully play a part in their community.

DISC Profiling (Secondary 1)

A tool for students to deepen their self-perception by catergorising individuals into four personality traits: Dominance, Inducement, Submission and Compliance.

Exploring opportunities – Where do I want to go?

Develop students' self-directedness and confidence to explore and leverage

Careers Alive (Secondary 2)

Industrial visits allow students to have first-hand experience of the work atmosphere in an industry.

Careers Day (Secondary 3)

Experts from various industries are invited to share with our students on their exciting journey.

Staying relevant – How do I get there?

Build students' adaptability and resilience to embrace the need for lifelong learning.

Education Fair (Secondary 3 -5)

Sharing sessions by representatives/ Alumni from Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and ITE.

Education Career Guidance Camp (Sec 4/5)

Students will learn about interviewing skills, making personal portfolios and social etiquette. They will also learn to build connections with their peers through team-bonding activities.

FutureMe card (Secondary 4)

Student will design a personalised card featuring their aspiration
